Race Clutch and Nissan Formula E Team extend their partnership for the 2024/2025 season

Race Clutch and Nissan Formula E Team extend their partnership for the 2024/2025 season

Paris, 28th Mars 2025 – After a successful first season, Race Clutch, a specialist in simracing and talent development in simulation, and Nissan Formula E Team announce the renewal of their partnership for the 2024/2025 season. Building on Race Clutch's technological and human expertise, Nissan Formula E Team continues to harness the potential of virtual racing to refine its performance in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

A strategic partnership for optimal performance

As part of this partnership, Race Clutch provides Nissan Formula E Team with its know-how in simulation and driver training. This collaboration is driven by a shared desire to leverage the latest advancements in modeling and data analysis to optimize car setups and real-time race management.

A key element of this partnership is the integration of talented simracer Collin Spork within Nissan Formula E Team. After proving his skills in the simracing world, Spork became the official simulator driver of the Japanese squad. His role involves conducting intensive virtual driving sessions that simulate real race conditions, enabling engineers to collect valuable data on the electric car's behavior and refine race strategies.

A successful first season marked by convincing results

The first collaboration between Race Clutch and Nissan Formula E Team, which began in 2024, quickly demonstrated its effectiveness. Thanks to the contributions of advanced simulation and the strategic adjustments it enabled, Nissan Formula E Team experienced significant progress throughout the season.

One of the highlights of this collaboration was Oliver Rowland's stunning victory at the 2024 London ePrix, a success that highlighted the importance of simulation tools and pre-race teamwork. This success reinforced the Japanese outfit’s confidence in Race Clutch’s approach and paved the way for even deeper integration of simulation tools for the 2024/2025 season. With an impressive start to the season, Nissan Formula E Team is currently leading both the drivers' and constructors' championships after four races, confirming the positive impact of the collaboration with Race Clutch.

Race Clutch, a talent accelerator between virtual and real-world motorsport

Since its inception, Race Clutch has established itself as a pioneer in simracing, playing a crucial role in scouting, training, and developing simracers toward professional careers. By providing racing teams with profiles skilled in data analysis and precise setup development, Race Clutch demonstrates that virtual racing is now an indispensable tool in modern motorsport.

Thanks to advanced methodologies and rigorous work on professional simulators, simracing talents like Collin Spork benefit from a smooth transition into real-world competition. This project illustrates the evolution of simracing, from a mere pastime to a true incubator of talent for the world’s top racing teams.

A shared commitment to the future of Formula E

Richard Arnaud, CEO of Race Clutch : "I am very pleased with our renewed collaboration with Nissan Formula E Team, and I would like to especially thank Dorian and his team for their trust and for the warm welcome given to Collin Spork. We are thrilled to continue integrating into the real motorsport world through virtual racing and to contribute to the brand's excellent results. This collaboration shows that simracing is now a fundamental pillar of performance in racing."

Dorian Boisdron, Team Director, Nissan Formula E Team : “We’re delighted to extend our partnership with Race Clutch and to continue working alongside Collin Spork through this collaboration. Collin has a very strong experience at a high level of e-sports and he’s proven to be a great addition to the team. Preparation before an event is vital in Formula E, and the way Collin quickly adapts to our drivers’ racing style helps us a lot. We’ve enjoyed working with Race Clutch throughout last season and are looking forward to continuing this partnership into the future.”

As Formula E continues to evolve and push the boundaries of electric technology, Nissan Formula E Team and Race Clutch share a common ambition: to push the limits of performance through new technologies and talent from the virtual world. This renewed partnership symbolizes that commitment and opens promising prospects for the future of the championship.
